Posada Santiago Guesthouse is a 4 room bed and breakfast type inn featuring an international blend of the culture of the Yucatan with North American ambiance. It is a gay friendy small hotel in the center of downtown Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, just a few blocks from the main town square, the Zocalo.

Guest rooms are separated from the main house, providing both privacy and quiet surroundings. The manager, who lives on site, is bilingual - English and Spanish.

Each room faces the swimming pool and tropical garden and has color cable television, kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee pot, bottled water produced by reverse osmosis, private tiled bath with shower, and air conditioning. The furnishings in each room are individually crafted by a local carpenter.

Breakfast and daily cleaning services are provided.

You will experience sophisticated elegance within a friendly atmosphere in this newly renovated 19th century colonial house. Its small size assures personalized service.

Located in Barrio Santiago, steps away from the plaza with its fruit, vegetable, flower, and meat markets and restaurants and food stands. Nearby are a bank, shops, a supermarket, drug stores, internet cafes, and a church and bakery.

Roof-top sunning areas. 18-foot privacy fence surrounds the garden and pool area.

This is a non-smoking facility, but guests are welcome to smoke in the outdoor areas. Children under 17 are not allowed, since our swimming pool is not surrounded by a fence.
